In Soviet Russia, Panda endangers YOU

Owed a friend a picture.

Quick jab at a self portrait.  Experimented with some different tools here.  Kind of wanted to invoke the look of "A Scanner Darkly", my favorite movie, while also making it seem more old-fashioned and a little washed out.

This was a speedpaint to prove to a friend how awesome digital painting is.  It's a little rough around the edges, but given that I spend less than 2 hours on this, I'm pretty happy with it.

This is called Esoterica.  Just a random picture of my guy and girl main characters (Leon on the left, Siria on the right).  This was originally a badly unsuccessful attempt at a business card, but then I figured the illustration itself was good enough to be its own piece.

The nature of the universe.

As outlined by the title of my blog, I would like to explore the nature of all things that have to do with things (ie, all important things.)  So what better way to do that than to post some of my artwork (possibly writing later, be excited)?

This piece is called "Descent into Dark Yggdrasil", it's part of my mythos.  Dark Yggdrasil is a place where the demon god Fhurys was locked up after successfully destroying the universe our current one is modeled after.  It is filled with the souls that couldn't make it out of there and is more or less hell.  I am in the process of coloring this but it could take a while.
